Plans & pricing

8

What is the difference between Starter, Premium and Boost?

All three plans share the LiteSpeed servers, free SSL, daily backups, free migration and 24/7 support. Starter hosts 3 sites, Premium 10 and Boost 20, each with its own resources: 15, 25 or 40 GB of NVMe storage, 2, 3 or 4 GB of RAM and as many CPUs. Premium and Boost include a free first-year domain name (12-month term or longer); Boost adds priority support.

What does “resources dedicated to each site” mean?

Every site in your hosting has its own limits for storage, RAM, CPU, I/O and concurrent PHP connections. A busy site therefore does not eat into the resources of your other sites, which stay fast. These are per-site caps, not resources permanently reserved for you.

How much does WordPress hosting cost at Hosterwise?

Starter starts at 7,99 €/month on a 48-month term, Premium at 13,99 €/month and Boost at 24,99 €/month. With no commitment, Starter costs 12,99 €/month. Prices exclude tax; the VAT that applies in your country is added at checkout.

Which billing terms do you offer?

You choose 1, 6, 12, 24 or 48 months. The longer the term, the lower the monthly price. The subscription is paid at the start of each period and renews automatically for the same term, at the same price, until you cancel it from your customer area.

Is traffic really unlimited?

Yes, no plan caps bandwidth or bills for traffic. Performance does depend on the resources dedicated to each site (memory, CPU): if your site grows a lot, moving to Premium or Boost gives it more headroom.

Can I change plans during my subscription?

Yes. From your customer area you can upgrade at any time; the change is prorated over the current period. Your sites stay where they are: only your hosting resources change.

Are SSL certificates included?

Yes, every hosted site gets a free SSL certificate, whatever the plan. Your site is served over HTTPS, which visitors, search engines and online payments all require.

Can I create e-mail addresses on my domain?

Yes. You create your e-mail addresses (such as hello@your-site.com) from your customer account, under “My sites”, with no limit on the number of addresses; they share the site’s storage. They work with the usual mail apps and smartphones.

Technical

11

Which web server do you use?

Our hosting runs on the LiteSpeed Enterprise web server, with LSCache server-side caching and HTTP/3. It reads .htaccess files written for Apache, so your WordPress plugins work unchanged, and serves cached pages without running PHP.

Which LiteSpeed edition do you use?

LiteSpeed Enterprise, the commercial edition, not OpenLiteSpeed. In practice, .htaccess files are honoured just as on Apache, with no server restart, ESI is available to keep a personalised block inside a cached page, and every server-side feature of the LiteSpeed Cache plugin is supported.

Do I need a caching plugin?

We recommend the free LiteSpeed Cache plugin: it connects WordPress to the LSCache server cache, purges it when you edit content and handles the WooCommerce exclusions. Disable other page-caching plugins to avoid conflicts.

Do you offer Redis?

Yes, a Redis object cache is available on every plan. It keeps the results of database queries in memory, which speeds up WooCommerce and the admin area. Turn it on in LiteSpeed Cache, under Cache › Object, method Redis, using the connection settings shown in your customer area or provided by our support team.

Which control panel do I get?

Your sites, e-mail addresses and DNS are managed right from your customer account, under “My sites”, where WordPress installs in one click. CyberPanel remains available for databases and phpMyAdmin, FTP accounts, the file manager, scheduled tasks and backups; your login is in your customer account.

Do I get SSH access?

No. We do not provide SSH access: it is a deliberate choice that shrinks the attack surface of our servers. Everything is managed from CyberPanel (files, databases and phpMyAdmin, scheduled tasks, backups), over FTP or from WordPress. For a command-line task such as a wp search-replace, our 24/7 support team runs it for you.

Which PHP versions are available?

The PHP version is set per site in CyberPanel, from the versions installed on the server. For the current list or a specific need (a PHP extension, an older version), write to our support team and we will get back to you quickly.

How do I install WordPress?

From your customer account, under “My sites”, WordPress installs in one click: pick the site, fill in a few details (title, admin account) and WordPress is ready. If you already have a site, our team migrates it for free.

Are my sites backed up?

Yes, automatically: every day, on every plan, and each backup is kept for 30 days. We also recommend keeping your own backups off the server, for example with a WordPress backup plugin sending them to external storage.

How are my sites protected?

Every site gets a free SSL certificate and an automatic anti-virus scan every day, whichever plan you choose. WordPress updates are applied automatically so security fixes land quickly.

Where are your servers located?

Our servers are located in France (Roubaix). Your sites, databases and backups are hosted there; cached copies of your public pages are delivered by the QUIC.cloud CDN.

Global performance & CDN

4

Is my site fast for visitors abroad?

Yes. Every Hosterwise site is served through the QUIC.cloud CDN, whose network had 78 points of presence across 8 world regions when we checked on 12 October 2026. Your public pages are delivered over HTTP/3 from a point close to each visitor; only personal pages (cart, account, admin) travel all the way to our server.

What is QUIC.cloud?

QUIC.cloud is the CDN and online services platform of LiteSpeed Technologies, the company behind our web server. Unlike a classic CDN, it caches the WordPress pages themselves, not just images and CSS, and purges them together with the server’s LSCache cache through the LiteSpeed Cache plugin.

Is the CDN included in my plan?

Yes. The QUIC.cloud CDN runs in front of every site we host, on Starter, Premium and Boost, at no extra cost and with no subscription to take out on your side. Just keep the LiteSpeed Cache plugin active in WordPress: it tells the network which pages to keep in cache and when to purge them after a change.

What is a reverse proxy?

A reverse proxy is a server placed in front of the origin server: it receives visitors’ requests, answers them itself when it holds an up-to-date copy of the page and passes the rest on to the server. At Hosterwise, QUIC.cloud plays that role, bringing your pages closer to your visitors and absorbing part of the traffic during peaks.

Migration

5

Is migrating my site free?

Yes. Our team moves your WordPress site (files, database, plugins, themes and media) from your current host for free, on every plan. You have nothing to install: we handle the copy and the checks.

Will my site go down during the migration?

No. We copy your site without touching the original, which stays online with your current host. The switch is made by pointing your domain to our servers; during DNS propagation, up to 48 hours, visitors see the same content.

How long does a migration take?

It depends on the size of the site and on access to the old host: we give you an estimate as soon as we have reviewed your request. Once the domain points to our servers, DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours.

How do I request a migration?

After your order, write to us through the contact form (subject “Technical support”) with the site address and your current host, without any password. We then explain how to share the logins securely.

Do I have to transfer my domain to you?

No. Your domain can stay with its current registrar: you just change its DNS records or name servers to point it at our servers. We tell you the exact values to enter.

Domain names

6

Which domain extensions do you offer?

You can register .com, .fr, .be, .it, .es, .de, .ca, .net, .eu, .org and .ch domain names. Check your name’s availability on our Domain names page, where the yearly price of each extension is shown.

How does domain registration work?

After payment, we ask for the registrant’s details in your customer area, as registries require. The domain is then registered with Internet.bs, an accredited registrar, and pointed at our name servers by default.

Is my domain renewed automatically?

Yes. A domain name is a yearly subscription renewed automatically by card, so you never lose your address. You can turn renewal off in your customer area; the domain will then expire at the end of the paid period.

Can I use a domain bought elsewhere?

Yes. Keep your domain with your registrar and point it at our servers, either by changing its name servers or by editing its DNS records. Our support team will walk you through it.

Can I transfer my domain to Hosterwise?

Incoming domain transfers can’t be ordered online at the moment. If you want to bring your domains to us, write to our support team and we will look into it. Meanwhile, an external domain works perfectly with our hosting.

Will my details be public in WHOIS?

We enable WHOIS privacy whenever the extension allows it. Some extensions have their own publication rules, set by the registry. Your details are always passed on to the registry, as registration requires.

Billing & refunds

6

Which payment methods do you accept?

You pay by card through Stripe, our secure payment provider; Stripe Link is also available. We never see your full card number. The saved card is used for the automatic renewal of your subscriptions.

How does the money-back guarantee work?

For 30 days after your first hosting order, you can ask for a full refund of the hosting by writing to support, no questions asked. Domain names are excluded: once registered with the registry, they cannot be refunded.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In your customer area, under “My services”, you can cancel a subscription at any time. The service stays active until the end of the period already paid, then it is not renewed. Remember to retrieve your data before that date.

What happens if a renewal payment fails?

You receive an e-mail with a link to pay the invoice, and new payment attempts are made automatically. Without payment, services may be suspended 7 days after the first warning. Update your card under “Payment methods”.

Where can I find my invoices?

All your invoices are in your customer area, under “Invoices”, and are attached to order and renewal confirmation e-mails. You can enter an EU VAT number when ordering.

Which currency am I billed in?

Reference prices are in euros, excluding tax. Depending on your country, prices may be shown and billed in your local currency; a subscription always renews in the currency of the original order. VAT depends on your billing address.

Support

4

How do I contact support?

Through the contact form or by e-mail at contact@hosterwise.com, 24/7. Pick the right subject (sales, technical, billing) so your request reaches the right person. Describe the problem and the site concerned, and never send a password.

How quickly does support reply?

Our team handles requests 24/7, in English or French, as quickly as possible. Telling us which site is affected, what happens and any error message helps us reply faster and more precisely.

Which languages do you speak?

Our support team answers in English and French, wherever you are. The whole site, customer area and e-mails are available in both languages, and prices can be shown in your currency.

Can support work on my WordPress site?

We help with everything hosting-related: server, LiteSpeed cache, e-mail, DNS, SSL certificates, backups and migration. Developing your site (theme, custom plugins) remains your responsibility, but we are happy to point you in the right direction.
