Since 8 November 2000, CIRA’s Canadian Presence Requirements have reserved .ca for, among others, Canadian citizens of the age of majority, permanent residents ordinarily resident in Canada, corporations under Canadian federal or provincial law, associations with at least 80% of members resident in Canada and owners of a trade-mark registered in Canada.
